The Client Needs Analysis is a tool used—in theory—by a lot of organizations in a wide variety of industries. But often, the CNA seller is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Often, they’ll say something like, “I’m not here to sell you anything today…I just want to learn more about your business.” Then, as soon as you expose a challenge, they pull out a pre-conceived ‘package’ that they had in mind before they ever spoke with you.
